About Us

The Oakmont Jr. Vikings is a decades long tradition in the Roseville Community. We have been training the youth of the Roseville and surrounding communities since 1996 when we formed as the Orangevale Jr. Huskies. Since 2004, we've had the honor of the Vikings name and tradition. We are proud to work with the youth of our community, teaching the fundamentals of Football and Cheer. We are recognized by Oakmont High School Coaching staff as a feeder program for their Football & Cheer programs. OJV welcomes all players and participants, no matter what school district boundary they are from. We welcome all players & cheerleaders to participate in our amazing program. Our goal is to provide a structured program to educate participants in all aspects of our youth football and cheer program. The success of our program is not measured by our win-loss record or a competition placement, but by the sportsmanship, teamwork and respect we show others and ourselves on and off the field. Our program will always be aimed at creating responsible and respectful youths that will work together as one family. In doing this, we will provide a positive learning environment that will maintain the highest standards in athletics and academic achievement and will be a positive experience for all of our participants.
