Our goals are to provide a structured program to educate participants in all aspects of our youth football and cheer program. The success of our program will not be measured by our win-loss record or a competition placement, but by the sportsmanship, teamwork and respect we show others and ourselves on and off the field.

Our program will always be aimed at creating responsible and respectful youths that will work together as one family. In doing this, we will always provide a positive learning environment that will maintain the highest standards in athletics and academic achievement and will be a positive experience for all of our participants and parents.

The money from the Candy Fundraiser was due on Thursday, October 23rd. You can turn it in at the equipment shed during practice on Wednesday or Thursday this week if you have not turned it in already.

You can purchase Banquet Tickets at the shed on Wednesday and Thursday this week and on Tuesday next week between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. The banquet is on December 14th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Radisson Hotel in Sacramento. Players and cheerleaders tickets are free, tickets for family and friends are $25.00 each.

The OJV Peewees and Jr. Midgets will compete in the Gridiron Football Tournament this coming weekend. On Saturday, November 22nd our Peewees will play Lincoln at 1:30 pm at Roseville High School and our Jr. Midgets will play Placer at 11:30 am at Antelope High School. This is not an SYFC event, so our SYFC badges and the OJV jerseys will not get you in the gate for free. Please come out and support our boys if you can.

Football Equipment Returns: Please get your equipment turned in at the shed this week if you haven't already, we will be there on Wednesday and Thursday evenings this week. Next week on Tuesday will be the last day we will be at the shed to take equipment and sell banquet tickets.

The Jr. Vikings are looking for volunteers! We need dedicated parents to help out before, during and after the season. If you are interested in taking on a bigger role in the operations of the organization, please talk to any board member. We need these dedicated volunteers to keep the program going strong for years to come.
